Fabber Academy …

Screen Captures6-003Fabber Academy is a project-based learning environment where teaching and learning occurs beyond a textbook-driven model of education. The mission of Fabber Academy is to improve the learning and development process of students at all grade levels through multimedia-based instructions with hands-on problems and technology applications.

Based on a pedagogical concept of Anchored Instruction with Technology Applications (Choo & Bottge, 2015), Fabber Academy has been established to teach through the learning sequence of (1) pattern making, (2) prototyping, and (3) production.

Screen Captures9-001Fabber Space is a space that we all possess within our own minds. It is that place that we go to when we think about the making of things.

Then join us on Wednesday nights at 6:00pm at the Fabber Space, 2420 Spurr Road, Lexington, Kentucky (it is located in the back of the building at The Learning Center @ Linlee). You will be greeted with open arms by people that, like you, just want to make stuff.
